Sallente’s dam is just a few minutes drive from the house. From there, you can start some route to the many lakes that scatter this entrance of the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. In summer, the ascent can be done using the cable car that goes up from Sallente’s dam to Estany Gento’s lake.

The valley is surrounded by ski resorts (Boí Taüll, Espot Esquí, Port-Ainé…), adventure activities (rafting, canyoning, horse-riding, …), and Romanesque churches and chapels that reflect the history of the region. A few kilometres from there, you can also enjoy Montcortés’s lake, visit the Museum of dinosaurs and the archeological site of Isona, buy lottery tickets in “La Bruixa d’Or” (The Golden Witch) in Sort, and complete your stay discovering the nineteen villages of the valley and enjoying the activities offered by La Torre de Capdella.
