The Torre de Capdella City Council announces the 20th Photography Contest, open to people who are fond of photography and photography professionals.
We propose to show the surroundings of the Vall Fosca, through its landscapes, the activities and works that are carried out, and the towns and heritage such as churches, trails, bridges, fountains, etc.
For this reason, the contest will take into account innovative and inspiring images of places that are unknown to many of us, new views of the towns, the work being done, the fauna as an area full of life, and the nature, always respecting the environment surrounding us. It will be valued that the photos faithfully reflect the observed or experienced reality.
The Contest includes two categories:
A1. General category. This category includes all those color photographs that show an image or a moment of the Vall Fosca, whether it be a landscape, a town, a heritage element, an activity carried out, a sample of its fauna or flora…
A2. Special category of annual call. Year 2024: black and white photographs. This category is a mystery every year and in 2024, the 20th anniversary of the contest, an award will be given as a tribute to traditional photography, the best made or edited in B/W, within any of the themes of the general category. Monochrome photos and two-color tones will also be accepted.
The deadline for submitting photographs ends on 07/15/2024 at 2:00 p.m.
