Located on the top of a hill, Antist has a wonderful view of both La Vall Fosca and the neighbouring villages and landscapes.

The depopulation suffered by the village between the sixties and the eighties threatened it with extinction. From then on, a group of enthusiasts –natives and newcomers– have been proceeding to a thorough restoration and preserving the basic pre-existent architectural elements such as walls, windows, doors and roofs. The restoration of the building spaces is preferably done using traditional techniques, reddish whitewashes and tonalities as well as respecting the volume, profile and historical perimeter of the village.
