The route departs on Aguiró’s main square. Start walking to the west, with Sant Joan’s church on your left. After 180 m, leave La Palomera’s path. Go ahead and turn to the southwest, towards and through the wood. The path crosses La Plana’s torrent, followed by another ravine, and leads to the chapel of the Virgin of the Coll (mountain pass). From there, follow the path that slightly goes uphill to the pass. Coll d’Oli is the union between Manyanet’s valley (Bòssia) and La Vall Fosca (“The dark valley”). This route used to be the itinerary of the livestock migration of the Bòssia and Malpàs valleys. From Coll d’Oli, you can take different paths to Manyanet’s valley: Santa Bàrbara, Aguiró’s mountain, Castellnou d’Avellanos, Quadra d’Erdo-Larén-Santa Coloma-Erdo-Sarroca de Bellera and Buira-Les Esglésies.
From the neighbouring village of Senterada, follow the L-503 road to La Vall Fosca until Molinos. Just after this village, turn left to Astell, Obeix and Aguiró.
