The route starts at the very end of Sallente’s dam or from the foot of the cable car, surrounding the reservoir until you get to the foot of the dam. Once there, the path goes uphill meandering through a quite steep slope.

You will also cross an area of fields before getting to the old railway (Carrilet). Then, turn left and get through the tunnels of the old railway line until you arrive to Estany Gento’s lake.

From the neighbouring village of Senterada, follow the L-503 road to La Vall Fosca until Sallente’s dam.
